Making five chairs and four stools by cocoa casino hand, with steam bending and a pole lathe, is the kind of thing that takes real patience — you can't rush greenwood, and the wood decides the pace as much as you do. My own evenings tend to go on UK site rather than anything you could point to afterwards, which is probably why this appealed. There's something appealing about furniture that comes out of a woodland rather than a factory, even if it means the legs won't match perfectly. That slight unevenness is arguably the point. Anyone finishing nine pieces in one course has earned the hashtags.
