Enjoy a happy day of foraging for hedgerow & meadow plants with Zanna Hoskins from S P I N D L E. On this single day course you will use freshly cut and locally sourced flowers to make summer wreaths, garlands or something for a special event. You will also enjoy a foraging walk to gather additional wild flowers and foliage from around our woodland & hedgerows.
The walk will be followed by a demonstration in the workshop, of how to make a summer wreath or table-centre using fully biodegradable natural materials such as willow, dogwood, (maybe a bit of wire), moss & string, after which you'll be able to get on with it yourselves and get creative, making the most of scent, colour, texture & form. At the end of the day you'll go home with something beautiful, natural, creative, and totally unique to you..
It is the subtlety of the seed heads, tiny flowers and colours of the British flora at different times of year that inspire the end result...
Please let us know via the booking form if you are interested in doing this course.
