On these two single-day courses, printmaker Bronte Adam will guide you through the traditional techniques of lino relief printing to create your own seasonal cards or decorative wrapping paper.
To make the most of your day, we suggest bringing a few design ideas to discuss with Bronte, who will help you develop them into achievable prints.
You will learn how to transfer your designs onto lino, carve fine details, explore colour separation and experiment with colour and pattern before inking and printing your finished work.
Choose seasonal cards on Saturday or decorative wrapping paper on Sunday – or join us for both!

Bronte Adam is a printmaker specialising in lino and woodblock relief printing, creating beautifully detailed, hand-printed work full of colour, pattern and character.
Living between the UK and the Pacific coast of Mexico, Bronte draws inspiration from nature, travel and the places she calls home. Her prints reflect the vibrant colours, landscapes, plants and everyday life around her, combining bold compositions with carefully considered colour palettes.
Bronte particularly enjoys the technical challenge of carving intricate details into her printing blocks, using multiple layers of colour separation to produce clean, vibrant prints with wonderful depth and texture.
Trained in printed textiles & surface pattern design at Leeds Arts University, she has worked as a freelance & commercial artist, designing prints for homeware, clothing and packaging.
