Welding - Taught by Rob Hill

On this one day welding taster day with Rob Hill, you will learn the basic principles of mig-welding and how to make a clean, strong and practical weld. With opportunity to use a plasma cutter, you will learn how to cut, bend and grind your steel, making a practical and finished object with decorative details such as scrolled legs or patterns cut with plasma. Having focused on a welding exercise at the beginning of the day, your main project will be to make a fire-pit... the perfect project to learn how to re-use old materials such as a wheel rim.
