A weekend of skill sharing, demonstrations, have a go stations and on-site suppliers

Leather carving and tooling, painting, dying, stitching, tool maintenance and more.

Come and choose your tools, leather, threads, dyes and hardware in person with Stonesfield Leather, The Identity Store (Sat), DLB Leather (Sat), Abbey England, Waxing The Thread all with stalls and some of their stock.

Competitions this year include

The Coaster competition, no bigger than 4” square. Open category tooled leather, any item, any design

All entries to be posted to Wernog Wood by Wednesday 14th June.

New to this year there will also be:

6” timed stitch challenge, materials provided on site Judging will be by public vote, tallied up at dinner time, Sunday 18th by the venue hosts, Claire and Rob. Prizes TBA

This event is organised by Mike Reid from Handcrafted Leather, to promote and share the art of carving, tooling and colouring leather with dyes and acrylic paints. Mike considers himself a keen amateur who simply wants to share his love of this fascinating aspect of leathercrafting, and to help others start their journey, as others have helped him.
