The course is designed for beginners and we work in a relaxed atmosphere. Each person will have their own set of tools and PPE.

The workshop is held under cover but we are outside so suitable clothing and strong footwear is recommended. All materials and tools are included in the price. At the end of the two days the sculptures are yours to take home.

We will be using a soft Maltese limestone which although relatively easy to carve is firm and gives good results. The blocks are approximately ten inch cubes. It is not necessary to have any definite ideas as these can develop and change throughout the weekend but some initial source material in the form of a sketch, photograph or small model might be helpful.
