If your course description mentions dyeing clothing, Liz suggests that you bring only items that are purely natural materials such as cotton, linen and wool. They don't have to be white and could in fact be something stained that needs new life.

You may want to bring some knitting as your pot will boil more quickly when you are not watching it.... and the best colours come to those who wait!
