Getting ready for your Windows and Doors mixed media course with Lynda

Please bring a selection of images, ideally 6x4" portrait shaped photos with the theme of 'Windows' and Doors. These will be incoporated into your work so you will need to be willing to tear them up! They can be colourful, decorative, ornate, exotic or quirky.... whatever inspires you.

Lynda says that she gets her images printed either at Tesco, Max Spielmann photo machines or Boots... Max Spielmann being her favourite and it is easy to peel the backs off the photos but any are fine.

You will be working on 25cm (10") square pieces and may use two or 3 photos per piece. Over the weekend, you might expect to make two pieces and a sketch/sample fold out book. Thise size will fit a standard bought frame and Lynda will bring a couple of examples that work well

If you dont have any images that you think are suitable, Lynda has a number from Oxford or Sicily... see exampes below.

If you have any favourite paint brushes, please bring them or any exciting paper that you could use for collage.
