Floristry

... a little information about your  course...
taught by

Kathryn Cronin

Clothing & what to bring

Most of our sessions take place indoors, but some activities may involve a short walk around Wernog Wood to forage for flowers. Please be aware that grass can be wet, so you may get damp feet.

We recommend:

  • Practical clothing and sensible footwear.

  • Wellies if it is raining, and warm layers for any outdoor work.

  • Footwear that can handle mud, especially in winter.

  • Gloves and aprons if you would like to use your own.

For transporting your creations:

  • Wreaths: Ensure your car has enough space to lay your wreath flat, and bring a towel or blanket to protect your seats.

  • Flower arrangements: A box or similar container will help keep vases upright.

  • Bring secateurs if you have them.

Refreshments

  • Please note that for a half day session, tea, coffee and biscuits will be available

  • For those staying for BOTH morning and afternoon sessions, there will also be lunch

Cash for your ceramic bowl

  • For those joining the spring floristry course, please bring cash for your ceramic bowl as we will give this directly to the maker.
