Bursary available to inspire and kickstart a passion or career in someone (18yrs+) who would otherwise not have the financial means to access blacksmithing or greenwood working courses.

 

We have been generously offered one, or possibly two bursary spaces to cover the costs of a greenwood or blacksmithing course, plus reasonable travel costs, evening meals and camping. The kind couple funding this bursary like to give to strangers at Christmas.

 

We hope you will share this message with anyone you believe would benefit from this fantastic opportunity. The lucky recipient will learn directly from professional and practicing crafts people here in Wernog Wood. Our courses offer much more than learning a new skill, but a nurturing social experience shared with people of all ages & backgrounds.

by 12th December 2021 and we will select the recipient by Christmas eve.  You are welcome to help this deserving person to write their proposal. Please tell us: name, age, contact details, the course of their choice, likely travel costs, what they hope these new skills will inspire or kickstart, and why they should be offered this bursary.

 

The course could be selected from any greenwood or blacksmithing course we offer in 2022 so long as spaces are still available.
